# Dyness Shapes the Future of Energy Storage in Spain with Optimal Solutions

Genera has just come to an end at Madrid in the past February. This largest renewable energy event in Spain, saw a 15% rise in professional visitors compared to 2023, setting a new attendance record. The number of exhibitors also increased from 400 in 2023 to almost 500 this year statistically. Furthermore, the president, Pedro Sánchez, inaugurated the fair, together with the minister for the Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera, which underscored the importance that the Spanish government attaches to the PV and energy storage market and demonstrated the huge growth potential of this market.
The government set an ambitious goal that Spain is targeting 20GW of energy storage by 2030. According to Wood Mackenzie's forecast, Spain is the fifth largest distributed energy storage market in Europe. And it's estimated that the PV & Energy Storage attachment rate will reach 25% from 10% in 2023 in the residential sector. Thanks to several favorable government policies and the increasing penetration of renewable energy in the electricity market, the Spanish PV and energy storage market will continue to grow as predicted.
Dyness, as a leading global energy storage technology company, based on long-term market insight and practice in Spain and the Iberian Peninsula region, has launched a full range of energy storage products to meet the needs of local households and enterprises. As the leading Spanish electricity companies such as Iberdrola and Endesa charge the household power tariffs according to the power difference, and the local households mainly use single-phase electricity. Therefore, Spanish households mainly use low-voltage energy storage products.
Facing this need of local users, Dyness launched two featured low-voltage battery products [B4850](https://www.dyness.com/products/b4850) and B3 respectively with 2.4 kWh and 3.6 kWh capacity. The two products both adopt LiFePO4 cell technology and support cell-level monitoring and balancing, featuring ultimate safety. The B4850 and B3 apply modular design with lighter weight less than 32 Kg, which is suitable for different application scenarios and easy to install. They could also be flexibly stacked in various brackets, saving installation time, space and cost. The 95% DOD(Depth of Discharge) ensures high system efficiency at the same time, reducing users' concerns about battery performance. Dyness' latest release, B4850-BOX, is a parallel version of the B4850, with an IP54 protection level that allows it to be installed outdoors. Its enclosure design optimizes the user experience further and reduces installation costs, cutting the user's initial investment greatly.
Furthermore, if there are capacity expansion needs, the two products both could be paralleled up to 40 units and do not require a secondary master hub, saving users around 200 dollars. The B4850 could be expanded up to 96 kWh and the B3 can have a maximum 144 kWh capacity through parallel connection, allowing them to provide backup power for light-commercial applications such as farms and small businesses to cut electricity bills. The wide compatibility with over 10 inverter brands such as SMA and Victron of the B4850 and B3 provides users greater flexibility and also enables the two products to gain great popularity locally.
The application of lithium iron phosphate batteries is being rapidly promoted, and Dyness is ready with its deep technological advantages and global experience, while our after-sales team could provide prompt and professional technical support ensuring full life-cycle service.
Nowadays, some newly-built houses and buildings in Spain have started adopting three-phase electricity. It makes the high-voltage energy storage market in the residential segment emerging. With this in mind, Dyness has also introduced high-voltage household products suitable for three-phase electricity for local users. For instance, the[Tower series](https://www.dyness.com/products/tower) offers five energy options ranging from 7.10kWh to 21.31kWh, which is well suited for three-phase electricity household consumption demand.
In the future, Dyness will always put users at the very center and will work hard to expand into other regional markets and optimize key distribution channels. Hoping that our products will contribute to the clean energy transition in Spain, Portugal and the Iberian Peninsula region.
